UAE warships approach towards Abyan coast

ABYAN, Sept. 19 (YPA) – Military sources said that battleships of the United Arab Emirates(UAE) on Thursday approached the coastal city of Shakqrah in Abyan province.

The battleships closed to the city, where the Saudi-backed exiled Hadi’s forces are stationed.
According the sources, the forces of “Hadi” declared a state of alert, amid terror and confusion among the military leadership in the Shaqrah city.

Armed groups, including Islah party militants and Hadi’s forces, withdrew towards Shabwa province, which indicates that the forces were received threats of being bombed, the sources added.
