Senior local official kidnapped in Aden
ADEN, Sept. 18 (YPA) – The United Arab Emirates’ southern transitional militia in Aden province, south of Yemen, on Tuesday arrested the director of the Water Establishment Office in Brega district, Eng. Nadim Abdul Wahab, and took him to an unknown destination, local sources said.
The sources confirmed that the leader of the transitional militia, Wadah Al-Subaihi, directed the arrest of Abdul Wahab, in an arbitrary measure, on the back of water cuts in some neighborhoods of the district.
While the transitional militia in the Brega district, Mohammed Saleh, an employee of the Aden Refineries Company, was kidnapped during the past two days, and placed in one of the rooms of the local council building, which was transferred to prisons where the citizens are thrown.
The city of Aden witnessed widespread violations carried out by the transitional militias of the United Arab Emirates, against loyalists of the government of exiled “Hadi” and all violators and opponents of the UAE occupation and hide in secret prisons, with the continued silence of international human rights and humanitarian organizations.
