JMP condemns targeting of Minister of Water’s home

SANAA, Sept. 12 (YPA) – Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) strongly condemned the criminal targeting of the house of a member of the Supreme Council of the Joint Meeting, Minister of Water and Environment Nabil Abdullah Al-Wazir on Wednesday at the Capital Sanaa by an improvised explosive device.

In a statement, the JMP considered this targeting an expression of inability of the enemy who is seeking any security breach to destabilize security and stability and disturb public tranquility by targeting national figures and leaders.

The Joint Parties noted the efforts of the Minister to provide the minimum level of clean water to all governorates without discrimination, as well as the fight against cholera and epidemics spread through non-pure water.

The JMP called on the security authorities to quickly investigate and arrest the perpetrators.
