Document reveals Meayad’s involvement in funding Islah military battle

ADEN, Sept. 9 (YPA) – A document issued by the finance ministry in Hadi’s government has reveled the involvement of the Central Bank’s Governor in Aden Hafedh Meayad in financing Islah Party’s military battle against the southern transition council with five billion Yemeni riyals.

According to the document No. 63 MOF issued on September 5, 2019 and signed by the finance minister in Hadi’s government Ahmed al-Fadhli, the finance minister asked the bank’s governor to provide the defense ministry in Marib province with five billion Yemeni riyals from the item of backed goods and services in Al-Wadeiah border crossing.

Economic and political observers believe that this comes within the framework of joint coordination and cooperation between Meayad and Islah leaders in Marib to pass financial deals to support Islah military reinforcements in the invasion of southern provinces.
