Friendly fire target Hadi troops in Shabwa

SHABWA, Sept. 3 (YPA) – At least eight soldiers affiliated to Hadi’s forces were killed by friendly fire in a military point in Shabwa province on Tuesday, media sources reported.

“Eight soldiers of the sixth military zone were killed at al-Akaf point located at the southern entrance of Ataq city by friendly fire,” Alsharaiah.net website loyal to Hadi’s government quoted a local source as saying.

The source confirmed that among the dead are the so-called Al-Tahrir Brigade commander’s brother and his son, and both from Jawf province.

He did not mention the identity and source of friendly fire that targeted the eight soldiers.
