Information Minister condemns coalition air strikes on prisoners in Dhamar

SANAA, Sept. 1 (YPA) – Information Minister and Spokesman of the National Salvation Government Daifallah al-Shami on Sunday strongly condemned the Saudi-led coalition air strikes against prisoners of war in a prison in Dhamar province.

” The aggression coalition ‘s claims that its air strikes targeted a military site in Dhamar came in an attempt to cover its crimes in Yemen and misleading the public opinion,” the minister said in a statement.

Al-Shami explained the aggression’s air strikes against the prisoners of war came in light of the conflict between the two countries of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The airstrikes on Sunday morning killed and injured dozens of the prisoners, who had fought alongside with the Saudi Arabia and UAE in various fronts.
