SANAA, Aug. 25 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Sunday fired 10 ballistic missiles against Jizan international airport and other military targets in Jizan province in the south of Saudi Arabia, the army spokesman said in a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency.
The spokesman Yahya Saria affirmed that the medium-range missiles, Badr-1, hit the military targets accurately.
The missiles also targeted military facilities and aircraft hangars in the regional airport, causing a suspension in the air traffic, the spokesman said.
Saria said the attacks come in retaliatory response to the Saudi war crimes and blockade against the Yemeni people.
