HAJJAH, Aug. 3 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by popular committees on Saturday launched rocketry and artillery attack on Saudi-led coalition mercenaries in Hajjah province, inflecting heavy losses on them, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The army’s artillery unit pounded the coalition mercenaries’ gatherings and fortifications in west of Hiran area and east of al-Nar Mountain, killing and injuring many of them, according to the official.
The army’s missile unit fired a barrage of Katyusha rockets at gatherings of the mercenaries in west of Hiran, hitting direct targets.
The official added that several of the coalition mercenaries were killed and injured in artillery shelling targeted their gathering in northeast of Muthallath Ahem area, while three mercenaries were gunned down by the Yemeni army snipers in east of the area.
