Shura condemns forced displacement against northern provinces’ people in Aden

SANAA, Aug. 3 (YPA) – The Shura Council on Saturday condemned the regionalism practices of some elements in the city of Aden against the people of the northern provinces by displacing them forcibly and closing their shops.

“Those practices are part of a scheme to divide Yemen according to the agenda of Saudi-UAE aggression coalition and its tools, which carry narrow regional projects aiming at fragmenting the social fabric,” the Council said in a statement.

The statement affirmed that the Yemeni unity did not come from a vacuum, but it had come as a result of struggle and sacrifices of martyrs and activists of the Yemeni Revolutions on September 26, 1962, and October 14, 1963.

The Council said that such immoral acts by groups funded by the invaders do not express the attitudes of the people of the southern provinces and their past and present national positions.
