10 killed in explosion in southwestern Pakistan
SANAA, July 31 (YPA) – At least 10 people were killed on Tuesday evening in an explosion targeting a police car in the southwestern Pakistani city of Quetta.
“The attack occurred on a police vehicle near the city police station in the crowded Liaqat Bazaar market of Quetta, capital of Baluchistan province in the southwest,” Xinhua news agency quoted local media as saying.
The nature of the incident has yet to be known. However, local reports indicate that it was a suicide attack but there was no official confirmation.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
