7 people killed, injured in mass shooting in New York

NEW YORK, July 28 (YPA) – At least one person was killed and seven other were injured in a mass shooting in Brooklyn Park in New York City, US media reported.

The shooting occurred on Saturday in a Brooklyn park packed with people and pedestrians, the Daily News reported.

According to Eyewitnesses, the shooting came from a basketball court near the perimeter of the area.

Local authorities indicated that one person was killed and seven others were injured in the shooting.
