Parliament approves report of Committee on Development, Oil

SANAA, July 23 (YPA) – The Parliament in Tuesday meeting chaired by the Parliament Speaker Yahya Ali al-Ra’i approved the report of the Committee on Development, Oil and Mineral Wealth.

The report included the Committee’s follow-up to the level of implementation of the Parliament’s recommendations on the mechanism of domestic gas distribution, the maintenance of oil berth No. (2) at the port of Hodeidah and the situation of oil derivatives ships held by Saudi-led aggression coalition.

In this regard, the Parliament approved a package of recommendations to the government after discussing the report and listening to clarifications and commitments on those recommendations from Minister of Oil and Minerals Ahmed Daress, Deputy Manager of the Gas Company Ali al-Qudimi and Chairman of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation Mohammed Ishaq.
