SANAA, July 21 (YPA) – At least five people, including two policemen, were killed and 10 others injured on Sunday morning in a suicide attack on a hospital in Dir Khan, Pakistan, Police said.
“Five people, including two policemen, were killed and 10 others injured in a suicide attack on the main Deir Khan hospital and shooting at a security post,” Pakistan’s Geo TV reported.
“The gunmen attacked the security post early in the morning, and when the bodies of two of the dead police were taken to hospital, a suicide bomber blew himself up,” Pakistani television quoted police as saying.
Police also said that “a number of injured people are in critical condition” and no group or organization has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Pakistan is now witnessing the first local elections in the tribal areas, which consist of seven provinces were previously semi-autonomous.
