Higher Education Minister emphasizes importance of investing in human resources development

SANAA, July 18 (YPA) – Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on Thursday organized a workshop to discuss the strategic project to build a qualitative human capital that meets the aspirations of the National Vision for building the modern Yemeni state 2030.

During the workshop, organized in cooperation with the General Authority for Investment and participation of a group of Yemeni universities, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Hussein Hazib emphasized the importance of focusing efforts for real and active investment in the development of human resources.

The Minister indicated that the strategic project is one of the qualitative projects, as it aims to qualify 16 thousand students in different specializations that meet the needs of development and labor market within the next ten years.

Hazib stressed the importance of involving the technical and vocational education sector in the strategic project as one of the basic pillars of the renaissance of societies, noting that the Ministry started work days ago under the national vision guidelines for the preparation of first phase plan 2019-2020.
