Attack in Somalia kills 26 people

SANAA, July 13 (YPA) – The death toll from an attack in Somalia rose to 26 people on Saturday, according to local media.

On Friday, Al-Shabaab movement militants attacked Asasey hotel in the southern port city of Kismayo, killing 26 people, including several foreigners and injuring 56 others.

In 2017, the movement waged a massive truck bomb in Mogadishu that killed over 500 people.
