Culture Ministry discusses mechanisms to implement first phase of national vision

SANAA, July 9 (YPA) – Ministry of Culture on Tuesday held a meeting headed by Minister of Culture Abdullah al-Kibsi to discuss mechanisms to implement the first phase of the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state.

The meeting touched on roles, responsibilities and tasks assigned to the Ministry in the framework of the national vision.

The meeting dealt with five main themes; which are as to follow:
1- The culture and its role in promoting the combat doctrine.
2- The culture and its role in preserving tribal customs and good values, especially with respect to the defense of land and identity.
3- The popular poetry and its role in promoting the combat fronts.
4- The protection of society from external influences, especially normalization.
5- The cultural diversity as a means to strengthen the social cohesion.

At the meeting, the Minister stressed the need to implement the national vision in various fields related to the cultural aspect.

Al-Kibsi pointed out that the culture is directly related to human, customs, traditions, heritage and general behavior.
