Yemeni army ambushes two Saudi military vehicles in Jizan

JIZAN, July 7 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on late Saturday managed to ambush two Saudi military pickups loaded with mercenaries hired by Saudi-led coalition in Jizan region, a military official told Yemen press Agency.

According to the official, improvised explosive devices exploded and targeted two military vehicles belonging to the mercenaries in front of Qais mountain, killing and injuring all those on board.

Earlier in the day, the army force repelled three wide-scale attacks carried out by the mercenaries on army’s location in the same area, leaving deaths and injuries in their ranks.
