Saudi forces arrest Belqees TV reporter in Mahrah

MAHRAH, July 6 (YPA) – The Saudi occupation forces on Friday kidnapped a correspondent of Belqees TV in Mahrah province (eastern Yemen) while covering the popular protest against Saudi forces in the province.

The organizing committee for the sit-ins of Mahrah’s sons said that journalist Yahya Al-Sawari, correspondent of Balqees TV, was kidnapped by soldiers affiliated with Saudi forces Mahrah province.

According to a Statement obtained by the Yemen Press Agency, the journalist was taken to a prison run by Saudi forces at al-Ghaydha airport.

Al-Sawari is working as a correspondent for the Balqees TV before moving to Mahrah province to cover the protest carried out by the organizing Committee against Saudi military presence in the province.
