SANAA, July 2 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor on Tuesday said that children are the most affected by the aggression war, which destroyed schools and parks and drove tens of thousands of them to the streets.
In a speech he delivered at a festival organized in Sanaa by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor Participated on the World Day Against Child Labour, Dr. bin Habtoor confirmed that the Government would do its utmost to address the situation of working children and to enact the procedures that protect them.
The prime minister indicated to a dangerous scheme of Saudi-led aggression coalition to keep the Yemeni people prisoners of backwardness, poverty and ignorance by targeting educational institutions.
“The current situation has greatly affected the situation of families and the government, whose priorities in the war phase differ from the phase of stability,” he said.
He referred to the factors behind the phenomenon of child labor in poor countries, which worsen during periods of wars and conflicts.
The international organizations carry out their duties, while the care and affairs of children remain related to the state and its vision for the future of post-aggression, he added.
