Gov’t will work to meet urgent needs of Bayda province: PM
SANAA, June 23 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtour on Sunday met with Governor of Bayda province Ali al-Mansouri, who briefed him on the current situation in the province and its urgent needs.
The premier confirmed that the Salvation Government would work to meet the emergency needs of the province and address the problems between the central and local authorities, taking into consideration the exceptional circumstances that the country is going through as a result of the aggression and siege.
Dr. bin Habtour emphasized the great importance of Bayda province in the national map and its significant role within the national project resisting the aggression and occupation forces and their illegal ambitions in Yemen.
In the meeting, al-Mansouri confirmed that the popular steadfastness in confronting the aggression coalition and its tools is at its best in the province, especially in light of the continuous victories against the mercenaries and extremist elements that wreak havoc on the land.
The governor touched on the size of needs of priority for the people in Bayda, especially in the field of paving roads and other basic services and humanitarian aspects. He noted to the developmental projects carried out by the Social Fund for Development in several districts of the province, which have had significant positive effects in the province.
