#Hodiedah residents condemn coalition siege on Duryhami district
HODEIDAH, June 22 (YPA) – Residents and sheikhs of Hodiedah province on Saturday condemned Saudi-led coalition’s siege on Duryhami district over 10 months.
The residents called the army and officials in Sanaa to take urgent and emergency decisions to end the blockade and save citizens in the district.
Citizens in Duryhami district have been suffering of catastrophic humanitarian situation and spread of skin diseases due to blockade imposed by the coalition on the district since the last 10 months.
Since March 26, 2015, the Saudi-led coalition has waged a military action against the Yemeni army, people Yemen’s sovereignty in flagrant violations of the international conventions.
The UN-brokered Sweden truce went into force on Dec, 18, 2018.
