Yemeni forces attack, destroy three Saudi military vehicles in Hajjah

HAJJAH, June 13 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Wednesday launched several attacks on positions of Saudi-led coalition in Hajjah province northern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the battle, which took place in the northern part of Midi desert, left dozens of the Saudi-backed mercenaries dead and wounded.

The official confirmed that the army forces took control over several positions in the same district, in addition to destroying two military vehicles, one of them was destroyed by an improvised explosive device, while the other one was destroyed by a guided missile.

Furthermore, the army forces carried out another attack on positions of the Saudi-hired mercenaries in the eastern of Hiran district, killing and injuring dozens of them.

The official added that the army forces were able to destroy a third military vehicle by an improvised explosive device, planted in the same district by the army’s engineering unit, killing all its crew members.
