DHALEA, June 13 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Wednesday launched an offensive on positions of Saudi-led coalition in Dhalea province southern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
According to the official, the battle, which took place in Morais front, left dozens of the Saudi-backed mercenaries dead and wounded.
The official said that the attack was taken from two tracks.
Meanwhile, the artillery unit of the army bombed gatherings of the mercenaries in Qataba district, causing direct casualties in their ranks.
Earlier in the day, the army forces managed to destroy three military vehicles loaded with mercenaries in the same district.
The mechanisms were destroyed by guided missiles fired by army’ anti-armored unit, killing and injuring all their crew members.
