Yemeni army seizes coalition weapons for second day in Najran

NAJRNA, May 30 (YPA) – The Yemeni army, backed by popular committees, on Wednesday seized quantities of various weapons belonging to Saudi-led coalition forces for the second day in a row on the frontier front of Najran, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official explained that the army units and popular committees launched a sudden attack on positions of Saudi army mercenaries in Shaja area off Najran, inflicting on them several casualties and losses in military gear.

The army and the popular committees were able to seize quantities of various weapons during the operation, he added.

On Tuesday, the army and the popular committees seized weapons of the Saudi-led coalition forces during a military operation in al-Tala’a site off Najran.
