Commander of UAE-backed militia in Aden resigns
ADEN, May 30 (YPA) – Commander of the so-called “Hazm Battalion 3” funded by the UAE occupation has resigned from his military duties in the city of Aden, southern Yemen.
The commander of Hazm Battalion 3 Saleh al-Amri resigned on Tuesday amid sharp differences with security leaders in the government of the exiled Hadi, according to sources in Aden.
The command of the UAE occupation forces issued a decision Tuesday, appointing Mahmoud Abdulrabb Sheikh as a commander of the battalion instead of al-Amri.
