Mahra tribes besiege Saudi military reinforcements at Shahen border port

MAHRA, May 27 (YPA) – Mahra tribes of Mahra province, eastern Yemen, on Monday prevented the entry of Saudi military reinforcements to Shahin border port in eastern the province.

According to source in the province, tribes of Shahen district prevented more 11 military vehicles of militias backed by Saudi occupation forces from entering Shahen border port after leaving Al-Ghayda Airport.

Tribesmen from Shahen cut the road in front of any military force trying to exit from the port to enhance the entry of the vehicles to the port, the sources added.

Mahra tribes vowed to expel the Saudi occupation forces and liberate the province from the militias they had brought from various provinces.

Shahen district witnessed in mid-March armed clashes between tribes and Saudi forces near Shahen border port after Saudi forces tried to secure the passage of trucks carrying unknown items without being subjected to inspection.
