ADEN, May 2 (YPA) – A soldier of the UAE-backed militia was killed on Wednesday when a citizen fired on him in al-Mimdara area in Aden city, eastern Yemen.
Sources reported that a security force of the militia raided a citizen on the pretext that he seized a piece of land in al-Mimdara area, and when the force arrived the place the citizen shot at soldiers, injuring the soldier who died later from his wounds.
The citizen was arrested but he jumped from the security car, and he was transferred along with the injured soldier to the hospital, but both died before they reached the hospital.
The province of Aden has witnessed a wide security chaos amid a growth of humanitarian crimes, assassinations and violations against innocent citizens since the entry of the UAE occupation forces into the city of Aden.
