SANAA, May 1 (YPA) – The national vision for building the modern Yemeni state in its second axis aimed to find modern formulas and methods of governance as a means of reaching good governance.
The second pillar was that the consolidation of the principles and foundations of good governance and its practice in various central and local state institutions is considered a strategic objective.
According to the second axis, establishing principles and foundations of good governance and practicing it in the state’s various central and local institutions is one of the strategic goals.
This axis is based on three indicators: the issuance of a decision to establish the national council for good governance and the size of data stored in the database of good governance as well as the number of legislations compatible with the principles of good governance.
The most important initiatives that will be relied upon in this aspect are the establishment of a national council for good governance, finding a unified mechanism to develop the public administration in Yemen based on principles of good governance, and the development and dissemination of an integrated program on the behavioral practices of good governance principles for the State employees, in addition to a system evaluating the level of good governance practices.
