Dozens of coalition fighters killed, injured in Najran front

NAJRAN, April 29 (YPA) – Dozens of Saudi-led coalition fighters, including leaders, were killed and wounded by the Yemeni army fire on Monday in al-Boqa area in Najran region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The army forces backed by popular committees repelled a large-scale infiltration attempt by Saudi army mercenaries in al-Boqa from three directions, inflicting casualties and heavy losses on them, according to the official.

He added that dozens of the Saudi army mercenaries were killed and wounded, including military leaders, and a military vehicle belong to them was destroyed during the confrontation.

On Sunday, the Saudi army mercenaries suffered many casualties and heavy losses when the Yemeni army forces foiled their infiltration attempts in al-Hamad and al-Raba in al-Ajasher and off al-Sudais site in Najran.
