Yemeni forces liberate several military sites in Hajjah

HAJJAH, April 25 (YPA) -The Yemeni army forces have on Thursday launched a large-scale attack on military positions of mercenaries hired by the Saudi-led coalition in Hajjah province, in the north of Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the army forces and liberated several military positions in the eastern part of Nar Mountain.

The official confirmed that dozens of the mercenaries were killed and wounded in the battle, which took place around the Hardh front.

The army forces captured large numbers of weapons during the attack, the official added.

He furthermore indicated that the mercenaries launched a counterattack, but were defeated and driven out of their sites after the Yemeni forces inflicted heavy casualties on their ranks.
