Justice Minister meets UNICEF programs head

SANAA, April 21 (YPA) –  Yemen’s Justice Minister Ahmad Abdullah Aqabat  met on Sunday with the Director of Programs of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Sanaa.

During the meeting, the officials discussed aspects of cooperation between the Ministry and UNICEF to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni children because of the Saudi-led coalition’s war on Yemen.

Aqabat appreciated the humanitarian role played by UNICEF in serving the childhood in Yemen, especially the horrific massacres committed by aggression coalition against the Yemeni children.

Meanwhile, the UN official stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with the ministry to tackle cases that face the children.
