FM meets UN official

SANAA, April 17 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf on Wednesday met with director of the office of the UN envoy to Yemen.

At the meeting, the minister renewed the imperative need to neutralize the economic siege by Saudi-led coalition for overcoming of the humanitarian crisis that target the Yemeni people.

Sharaf stressed the need to respect the role played by the UN envoy to facilitate a process of political settlement and stop the war.

The meeting dealt with aspects related to the implementation of the UN-brokered Stockholm agreement on Hodeidah province and the ongoing violations of cease-fire by pro-Saudi aggression party.
