Military commander loyal to coalition killed in Asir

ASIR, April 14 (YPA) – A military commander loyal to Saudi-led coalition was killed on Sunday by the Yemeni army’s fire in Asir border region.

A military source in Asir told Yemen Press Agency that the commander, Ahmed Saleh Awad Sheikh al-Diuli Awlaki, along with several others of his troops were killed when the army forces launched a counterattack against the Saudi-hired militants in Alib crossing.

Earlier in the day, the army forces destroyed an armored car and military pickup, loaded with militants hired by the Saudi army in the same district, killing all their crew members.
