Update: 3 Saudi soldiers shot dead in Najran

NAJRAN, April 13 (YPA) – The Yemeni army’s sniping unit on Saturday shot dead three Saudi soldiers and several Saudi-backed militiamen in Najran front, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

“Three Saudi soldiers were gunned down in Marba’ al-Hammad area,” the official said.

He added that many Saudi-backed militiamen were killed and wounded in artillery shelling targeting their gatherings in Raqbat Marash.

On Friday, the army forces backed by the popular committees carried out an offensive against positions of Saudi-backed militia in Rushahat al-Boqa, which resulted in casualties and losses in ranks of the militia.
