Saudi regime bans external speakers during prayers
SANAA, April 11 (YPA) – Saudi Islamic Affairs Ministry ordered mosques to ban external speakers during calls for prayers, Saudi local media reported on Thursday.
“The move comes after mosques’ neighbors have complained the speakers’ sounds of the mosques cause loud noise and create distortions,” the ministry added.
It instructed field workers to conduct visits to make sure that imams and preachers committed to the new regulations, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
Regulations included preventing preachers’ activities and lectures and seminars into the mosques during Ramadan.
