Sayed Abdulmalik al-Houthi discusses with Griffiths implementation of Hodeidah agreement

SANAA, April 8 (YPA) – Leader of the Revolution Sayed Abdulmalik al-Houthi on Monday discussed with UN Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths the implementation of Hodeidah agreement.
In the meeting, Sayed Abdulmalik stressed the need to speed up the implementation of Hodeidah agreement away from the obstacles created by Saudi-led coalition countries outside Sweden Agreement.

Sayed Abdulmalik indicated to the continued deterioration of the humanitarian situation due to the unjust siege imposed by the aggression coalition countries on Yemeni people through holding oil vessels and arbitrary economic restrictions.

In this regard, the leader of the revolution pointed out that the continuation of the closure of Sanaa Airport, the spread of diseases and the delay of prisoners file came as a result of the failure of the United Nations to play an effective role in addressing those issues.

Sayed Abdulmalik also touched on the abduction of women in the areas occupied by the coalition forces, noting that these cases have increased without condemnation by the United Nations and its bodies, which constitutes a grave violation.

He added that the international community’s absolute silence has helped cover the continual crimes of the aggression coalition against the Yemeni people.
