HAJJAH, April 6 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Saturday launched an offensive on sites of Saudi-backed militia in Hiran area northern Hajjah province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The army forces attacked the militia positions east of al-Askarieen village in Hiran, killing and injuring several of them, according to the official.
A military vehicle of the militias was destroyed with a guided rocket, while another one carrying militants was burned in the same area.
The source confirmed that three Sudanese mercenaries of Saudi-led coalition were gunned down by the army’s snipers in north of Midi desert in the province.
