ASIR, NAJRAN, April 1 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces launched on Sunday offensives against Saudi army’s sites in border fronts of Najran and Asir regions, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The army fighters managed to seize several sites where a number of Saudi-backed militants were stationed off Alib outlet in Asir front.
The offensive resulted in several of dead and wounded among the Saudi-paid militants.
In Najran front, the army carried out two attacks on Alib and Nahoqa sites, inflecting heavy losses in Saudi army’s ranks, while a Saudi solider was gunned down in a sniping operation in Raqabat al-Halq.
Moreover, the army’s artillery shelled a group of Saudi-backed gunmen off Alib mountains and gatherings of Saudi troops in al-Mashraq center of the same region.
