Salvation Gov’t condemns kidnapping of woman with her daughters in Hodeidah

SANAA, April 4 (YPA) – The National Salvation Government’s Spokesman and Information Minister Dhaifallah al-Shami on Thursday strongly condemned the kidnapping of a woman and two of her daughters, one is six years old, by militia loyal Saudi-led coalition from al-Tuhita district of Hodeidah province.

“The abduction of the woman and her daughters and destroying her home in al-Boqa village of al-Tuhita district is a crime that is incompatible with all humanitarian values, principles and norms and international laws,” said al-Shami in a statement to Yemen News Agency (Saba).

Al-Shami added “the abduction of women clearly reveals the aggression forces’ criminality and their insistence on undermining any cease-fire agreement in the province.”

The spokesman called on women’s rights organizations to play their role in condemning the crimes and violations committed against women in Yemen by the aggression coalition and its militias.
