SANAA, April 3 (YPA) – Yemen’s Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf met on Wednesday with the Director of the UN Office for Humanitarian Affairs Coordination (OCHA) in Sanaa.
At the meeting, the minister discussed aggressive steps taken by the Saudi-led coalition to hinder and prevent ships lauded with food, medicine aid and oil derivatives to enter to the Yemeni ports.
Sharaf called on the UN humanitarian organizations to pressure on the coalition states to permit entering the ships to Hodeidah ports for alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people.
The Minister renewed the National Salvation Government’s commitment to facilitate and overcome on difficulties and challenges facing the UN organizations operating in Yemen.
Meanwhile, the UN official said the UN agencies would provide a lot of support possible to alleviate the humanitarian crisis suffered by the Yemeni people.
