Deputy governor of Mahrah attacks exiled Hadi’s leaders in authority

MAHRAH, April 2 (YPA) – Badr Kalishat, the Deputy Governor of Mahrah province has on Monday launched a verbal attack on leaders loyal to the exiled Hadi’s government who were recently appointed in the ruling authority in Mahrah province, eastern Yemen.

He wondered about the intentions of these leaders who are appointing their relatives in the power, while the province’s sons are marginalized.

“The Chief of Staff loyal to the coalition, Bahri Abdullah al-Nokhiea, has appointed his brother as the head of the facilities protection forces, the nephew of Defense Minister Mohammed al-Maqdshi was recently appointed by the head of military police officer and the commander of Military Police in the coalition- backed Ministry of Defence, Nasser Al-Nubah, has appointed his nephew as the commander of the Military Police in Mahrah,” Badr Kalishat, Deputy provincial of Mahrah province wrote on his official Facebook page.

He called it ironic that the military leaders send their relatives to fill vacant positions Mahrah positions, thus depriving the children of the local population of their rights and jobs.

The recent decision to appoint Ibrahim al-Maqdshi as a staff officer of the military police in the province was especially shocking, as he is known as a counterfeiter and has no military experience, according to local media.

The voices in Mahrah have recently come out to demand the dismissal of Bakrit, whom they described as the center of corruption, because he allowed appointments from outside the province and facilitated the unjustified presence of Saudi forces.
