Yemeni Media Union condemns correspondents in Hodeidah
SANAA, March 31 (YPA) – Yemeni Media Union on Sunday strongly condemned targeting the national journalists and correspondents by Saudi-led coalition and its militias in Yemen to hide its war crimes in Yemen.
The union called on the local and international organizations working in the field the human rights to “solidarity with Yemeni media and journalists and condemn the terrorist acts carried out by the coalition.
The Saudi-led coalition and its militias opened fire and injured a correspondent of Sept. 21 radio of the Yemen’s Defense Ministry Bassam al-Asadi in Hodeidah province while covering events and violations of the cease-fire in the province.
Since, March 26, the coalition has killed dozens of journalists, photographers and correspondents in targeting directly, in addition to blocking frequency of Yemeni broadcasting channels.
