National delegation discusses with Griffith preventing escalation in Hodeidah

MUSCAT, March 31 (YPA) – The national negotiating delegation headed by Mohammed Abdulsalam on Sunday discussed, in the Omani capital Muscat, with UN Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths proposals to prevent any escalation in the city of Hodeidah.

The meeting touched on Hodeidah agreement and obstructs that stand in the way of implementing the two-phase redeployment plan, which has already been agreed upon.

The meeting also dealt with the issue of prisoners and the need to speed up the implementation of what was agreed upon in Jordan meeting, in addition to the economic issue and the participation of women.
