Parliament Speaker sends letter to New Zealand’s PM

SANAA, March 31 (YPA) – Speaker of the Parliament Yahya al-Ra’i on Sunday sent a letter to Prime Minister of the Kingdom of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern.

In his letter, al-Ra’i praised the high humanitarian and moral positions shown by the New Zealand’s prime minister following the terrorist incident that targeted two mosques and left a number of Muslim victims.

The parliament speaker confirmed the support of the Republic of Yemen for efforts to combat terrorism, as terrorism has no homeland or religion. He called on the countries of the world for cooperating and uniting efforts to eliminate its causes and real motives.
