SANAA, March 31 (YPA) – The so-called Israeli Civil Administration will agree to build some 1,400 settlement units in the West Bank and East Jerusalem settlements this week, the Haaretz daily newspaper reported on Sunday.
The newspaper said that this is the final stage in terms of government approvals, and then will be the process of bidding and construction, noting that will be the end of the week to promote the 3,500 other settlement units in the West Bank.
110 housing units will be built in Giv’at Ze’ev settlements, 603 in Ma’aleh Adumim, 281 in Betar Illit, 108 in Ephraim and 325 in Alon near Kfar Adumim, near the village of El Khan El Ahmar.
The newspaper noted that some 3,500 housing units would be promoted without approval of any plans, pointing out that the number will reach about 5 thousand settlement units in total.
