Yemenis gear up for commemoration of 4 years of steadfastness
SANAA, March 24 (YPA) – On Tuesday, 26 March, the people of Yemen will commemorate the four-year anniversary of Yemeni steadfastness in the face of Saudi-led aggression, and mark the inauguration of the fifth year with a mass rallies to be held at Sabaeen Square in the capital city of Sana’a, as well as in 10 other provinces. The manifestations will be held under the slogan “We are suffering as you are suffering”.
The organizing committee is about to finalize the equipment and arrangements for the success of its fourth-year commemoration, which is expected to be larger than in previous years.
In an interview with Al-Thawra newspaper, the head of the organizing committee, Khaled Al-Madani, called on all the Yemeni people to participate actively the in events and activities meant to commemorate four years of steadfastness in the face of the US-backed Saudi-UAE aggression.
He stressed that participation in this event is a religious and national responsibility for everyone, without exception.
Al-Madani pointed out that millions of Yemenis will send strong and terrifying messages to the countries of the world on Tuesday that Yemen and the Yemenis have become stronger and more able to thwart all conspiracies, and that they will not be broken by any conspiracy or defeated by this coalition.
On the equipment of the event, Al-Madani confirmed the completion of all preparations assigned to the subcommittees, such as technical, media, cultural and security committees. Only the mobilization committees will continue working until the end of the event.
The head of the organizing committee pointed out that this year’s events will be held in 11 squares. Three squares have been added in three provinces: Hajjah and Rimah, and the six districts around Bayda city, in addition to the previously announced Sabaeen Square in Sana’a and those in Hodeidah, Dhamar, Ibb, Saada and Taiz, as well as two squares in Jawf: Al-Mutama and Barat Al-Anan.
According to al-Madani, more than 12,000 cadres are working in various organizational committees in order to make a success of the event, including more than 1,700 workers in the committees of mobilization, and more than 10 ambulances have been provided to secure the Sabaeen Square. Hospital staff, mobile medical teams and emergency centers have been prepared in cooperation with the Ministry of Health.
Khalid Al-Madani pointed out that the event of this year will be greater than the previous years, as a result of the addition of 3 public squares, in order to strengthen the steadfastness of the Yemeni people and to make the countries of aggression feel despair and frustration and to fill them with the certainty that their defeat in Yemen is inevitable.
