ABYAN, March 24 (YPA) – A violent explosion on Sunday rocked Mahfad district of Abyan province, Southern Yemen, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.
According to the sources, an improvised explosive device exploded while two civilian cars were passing by on the main road in Mahfad city, injuring two civilians.
The sources confirmed that Nasser Ahmed Ba Marhol, a member of the District Local Council and Mohammed Haidara, were slightly injured in the blast.
Yemeni southern provinces under the control of the UAE occupation have been witnessing a state of security chaos for four years, amid the spread of assassinations, especially at security points of the UAE-backed militias.
