HODEIDAH, March 23 (YPA) -The losses suffered by the oil sector in the province of Hodeidah, during four years of aggressive war of Saudi-led coalition on Yemen, amounted to more than 33 billion riyals.
That included the damage and losses of Ras Issa port, which amounted to 17,170,676,000 riyals, according to statements by Director of the Yemeni Petroleum Company branch in Hodeidah Mohammed al-Lukomi and Director of Ras Issa facilities Mohammed Mahiob during a seminar on the oil sector losses during four years of the aggression.
They indicated that the losses of the aircraft supply department amounted to 12,175,511,000 riyals.
During the seminar, Acting Governor of Hodeidah province Mohammed Ayyash stressed the importance of informing the world public opinion on the damage and losses suffered by the oil and gas sector in Yemen.
Ayyash praised the steadfastness of workers and employees of the oil and gas companies and their discipline in their duty stations in order to provide citizens with their needs of oil derivatives.
