Yemeni army thwarts coalition’s infiltration attempt in Najran

NAJRAN, March 23 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Saturday managed to repel an infiltration attempt carried out by militants loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Najran region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the battle, which took place in Shabakah, left dozens of the militants dead and wounded.

The attack lasted for several hours with the participation of warplanes, Apache and reconnaissance, but without making any progress on the ground, the official added.
