Targeting coalition representatives Headquarters by Yemen army is propaganda: Army Spokesman

SANAA, March. 19 (YPA) – Yemen’s army spokesman Yahya Sarie said that targeting a headquarters of Saudi-led coalition representatives and militias  in the joint committee in Hodeidah by the Yemeni army is propaganda.

Sarie affirmed that the coalition and its militias’ propaganda came to cover up the continuing violations of the UN-brokered ceasefire in Hodeidah and to mislead the public international opinion.

“Members of the UN team has known that theirs headquarters was targeted by the coalition and its militias over 10 times, Sarie added.

The spokesman said the coalition and its militias commits over 13,000 violations of ceasefire in Hodeidah ignoring the international efforts to achieve peace in Yemen.

Sarie explained that the army is committed to carrying out Sweden’s agreement of the first phase of the redeployment in Hodeidah as a moral aspect, but the coalition  did not respect obligations and tried to disavow  from the agreement.
